No, I'm not a contortionist, but I really admire it, and am trying to work towards it. I have a really flexible lower back, and I can do a chest stand, but can't get my feet down to the ground yet.. I do aerial acrobatics, and hand balancing and stilts.. that's what got me interested in contortion and other circusy pursuits.
you have some cute stuff in your gallery by the way.. I like the litle lady bug.

sorry i'm a bit late replying, anyway i do gymnastics / contortion i do the beam and tumbling but mainly contortion. I love those hand balancing stilts -but they are really tricky (i hate falling off!) 
I would like to learn some circus skills. I

Ah, I admire the beam so much! I took gymnastics when i was about 10 and fell off, and ever since, I've had this stupid paranoia about doing cartwheels on it. And I'm strong enough to go really slowly and put my feet down where I want, but even just to do it on the super low beam, I have to talk my self into it for a really long time.. ack. but anyway.. I'm sure there are more.. those 2 are just the ones I've stumbled upon. Gymnastics is a great place to start when you want to learn circus. keep it up, and look for classes in what you like around your area.

I know what you mean, i can't cartwheel on the beam either, even though i can do walkovers and stuff 
P.S if you did want to try cartwheels on the beam again practicing along a line does help (it just makes taking it onto the beam a bit less scary!) Once you get the confidence, its not so hard!

I can actually do a cartwheel on the beam, i just get really scared and have to bail out 80 times before making myself just do it!
