Mabel is just such a hilarious character! She's definitely the best character in Gravity Falls.

The weirdness of Louise from Bob's Burgers + the derpiness of Meelo from Korra + The adorable awkwardness of Chowder = Mabel.

Originally, this was only supposed to be a 15 minute warmup sketch. So much for that! While I was drawing these, I just noticed that she wears a different shirt every episode, which I think is a nice touch. For the more realistic one, I had wanted to do a full-fledged painting, but the more I tried to progress on it, the more it looked like something in the Uncanny Valley. So I just outlined it and left it alone. The one on the far left does not have any hands because they were just too difficult to get right. I'll need to start practicing them more. I've already spent about 4.5 more hours than I wanted to for this, so I'll just say, "good enough".
