Voila! My entry for the SKRIBBLE contest! I dunno why, but the moment I saw the original set of lines I knew I was gonna paint a sci-fi...even though I NEVER paint sci-fi.
I enjoyed working on this and hopefully it will encourage me to do more sci-fi stuff in the future (and kick it up a notch since my gallery is severely lacking in badass robots and machinery). 
Painted entirely in Photoshop 6 with a Wacom Graphire 3 pen tablet on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

Eeeeh I love the colours!! They give me a sense of wonder (and also a sense of "oh it would be really cool to have that spacesuit and that pink light stick thingie" *_*) I can imagine there's a story behind this, and that's always reeeally nice :'D You kicked that scribble's ass, I hope you win!!!!

the original sketch had oranges and pale turquoise (almost white) but then i decided not to use those cuz i use them a lot in other stuff. now i think teal and magenta might be my new fave colour combo!

i LOVE sci-fi, but i never draw it. drawing machinery and robots makes me cry, so i cheated with this one and just drew a guy in a space suit!
