Description
Another usual blue painterly fractal I like to make. I came back from holidays today and decided to post this one.

I like the monochromatic feel of this one - it reminds me of twisted ice in an ancient and active glacier. Again, I must praise you on your coloring and gradients which you use and/or manipulate. They are truly fantastic.
I like the paintery (as you say) feel of this fractal - it's like painting paper with oils on the surface of water. A technique, even in this digital format, which is difficult to master.
The only thing I could possibly say in a way of offering critique and suggestions would be on the composition. It feels center-balanced. Not a faux pas or some horrible mistake, and sometimes, especially with fractals, that 'feels' like the best way to compose it. I suppose try using the zone system for your compositions sometime.
Otherwise, I really like this piece and find it immensely beautiful. This piece would look stunning on a navy wall - which, amazingly enough, is pretty popular right now.
