Correct, The XY ash showed how he has grown from the original series to XY&Z something I really like about the character.... The SM Ash.... Seem to have lost all that character Development and Became slightly Immature.... So I had to do the Ret-Con that SM ash is a Clone (A Failed one at that) and told that the XY ash is the real one.

Well..... Ash isn't Pokemon Master yet from what he learned form the his Achievements in the Original Series, And when he mastered the Battle Frontier, And from my Pick of his new Design in the 2019 series his Journey to become Pokémon Master is a long and Eternal one I do like his new look, you could say due to events that happened in Between Sun & Moon and the newer Series, the Real Ash changed from his XY&Z look to the new Design in the 2019 series, Now... Ash Still retains his personality... It's just the Reason he acts the way his is in the series sometimes is because of his Connection with Magical Girls from a series you may not have heard of.... Pretty Cure, Hell, I do explain that in some of my Pictures.
