This is a very powerful and moving piece. How blind we become, eh? I especially love how it's framed. I think there'd be more impact if the background were more 'enlightened,' if you will (lighter in color) instead of so sinister, to enhance the concept of enlightenment and contrast sharply to the bloodiness

Wow. I've been going through your entire gallery, and this thing not only grabbed me, it gave me chills (and perhaps a nauseous feeling -- that much emotion).
