Mr. Fielding,
I just received your painting today. My sister ordered it for me. I am a die hard fan of How To Train Your Dragon. When I opened it, I was speechless. I cried. It is truly unique and the most beautiful piece of art work I have ever received. You are truly a master in your field!!
Have a great Christmas.

Ohh my gosh, this is absolutely amazing!! :0 The detail is amazing - Toothless's eye and scales in particular look incredible.

Impressive use of your tools.
general critical statements, ignore if you wish:
The hand seems to be bending the way of the viewer far more then the rest of his arm implies it should be. The sharing on toothless-es eye seems too flat in how it was shaded, and I don't think you did that intentionally.

Nice observations. It is hard to notice things like that when you work too close to it.
I don't totally get what you mean about Hiccup's arm, but Toothless's eye is definitely something I will be correcting. Thank you.

Thus why I spam my drawings at close friends before I post it online. Pretty dang hard to spot my own mistakes after about a hour of drawing. Sadly they rarely offer any thoughts. But yeah, glad you found my thoughts useful.
Also:
hm, let me try to rephrase, the arm, lets say it's on a 45 degree rotation (the numbers are random because I am too lazy to get it exact, just using it so you can get what I am seeing), the arm guard and everything pointing at the ground at that angle, however the hand, appears to be set at a 35 degree angle. Which should be impossible as the hand and forearm work on the same rotation. the hand and forearm can't rotate to different degrees as the hand is on a hing bone.
I still feel like I'm phrasing it wrong, but meh.
