Β This is part of a small series of pictures I'll be doing for those characters I mentioned in my journal that I haven't posted on dA (For various reasons...which I'll still have to deal with.) but people show interest in wanting to see them, so here they are.
Jex is a daughter of a nymph and a powerful oni. Unfortunately, she didn't get the best of the gene pool in either situation, but she makes good use of what she's got. She's a fun-loving, silly, but also surprisingly wise. She has the power to float, heal (barely), and let out a blood-curling, deafening screech when provoked. She has other abilities she has yet to discover. She is the half-sister of Eli Mavs (owned by ~Cynthetic-art ).Β

PS. Headcanon: she sounds like Mabel from gravity falls, maybe if the voice was a bit softer.

I think you designed Jex really well, especially since you consider Mabel's voice as hers.Β She has a nice mix of physical maturity, but it seems obvious that she's still childish at heart! I like the idea of Jex being a girl who just accepts the misfortune she genetically and still finds a way to smile and be happy about it.Β I find such a thing admirable!Β
It looks like handling those unproportionate arms might be a little hassle though.Β The arms/hands look like they would be barely off the ground, if not being touching/dragging against the ground in a standard standing pose. Β Β Watch the spikes at the ankles as well!Β
Eli Mavs.....an intriguing connection.Β I wonder what would happen if Jex entered Rumble City too.Β

Thank you! Those arms and stretch and contract so she can make them....manageable lengths haha. Nah, she won't enter Rumble City. Too many reasons against it XD.

I love the concept of a character who gets the worst of both worlds like that. Β It's an amusing idea.
