Ummmmm, probably most of my life actually :0
My grandfather is a semi-famous Canadian painter and my dad is an artist too so I got a lot of encouragement with art as a little little kid and just kinda kept at it.
Although my drawings never really got acknowledged much by my family or friends when I got a little older :T
But then I got to take some college courses (especially life drawing which I can't overstate the importance of) and discovered dA which is probably the single thing that has helped me improve most of all ^^
I learned so much from everyone on this website

This has now become one of my favorite things I've seen you make, I just really adore the composition and autumnal pallet! Great work with shading better than usual I just adore those two Tidri chiling out in the shade, and that is one hell of a design for the bird it's a bird within a bird! A Birdception! The brick wall thing brings Charlie Brown to mind instantly for me, if only his world was this fun.

I see they still can't get that necklace off, eh? Poor guys. That's not why I was commenting though, the real reason why is because THE BEES ARE FLOWERS!!!! That is so cool! Those stand out to me for some reason... also, the setting looks like it used to be a city or town of sorts, but it fell and deteriorated with time and not much is left of it now, it's just more forest. I'm guessing there's quite a few places such as this one? I ask because our heroes don't seem to show that the surrounding area is anything new to them, they just seem happy as always. Traveling is always better with a friend. Heheh, the way Mellallu is clinging to Lolo's back reminds me of Yoda, only I'd think Mellallu is much lighter and softer to tote on your back. Probably a better conversationalist, too.

I changed the collar design a bit by the way ^^
I always wanted it to look like a mix between like nature and technology and I think I got it almost right now.

Mellalu got snatched by a bird as a baby and grew up on an island with no other mammals on it.
She left with Lolo when he washed up on the beach (or something, memories of that day are still a tiny bit foggy :/ ).
But even after she got back to the mainland, she just never encountered one of her people.
Its kind of a "always in the wrong place" kind of thing :T
I actually kinda wanted to do Lo meets Lu story in storybook form for a few years now but wanted to wait until I could do it digitally.
Maybe I should try it now that I got my tablet :0
But yeah, also, the story with Eud and Rehaen is pretty Tidri heavy :/
I'm just trying to build Lolo's world a little before I get started on the comic :T
I'm still looking for the perfect gimmick to set this fantasy world apart from the millions of other fantasy stories ^^
