My entry to 's summer fun contest!

A common summer tradition in my home is brewing jams and jellies of all kinds. Most common is blackberry and tsulhtun (salmon) berry. Really sweet and tasty, can last the whole year if we make enough! Though we sometimes buy strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and all the other good jamming fruits.

This year, it seems I've invited Nyka as well as Lilly over to to help with the jamming!

This was full of experimenting and testing of things I've never done before. Backlightning has always been a bit tricky for me, but I I'm pretty happy with this. What I've never done is using "coloured" light in an image. I think I might have once... but I don't think that one worked. And it was another image where I tried to make it as "alive" as possible through the background. I think I succeeded.

Of course I think I could have done better... but that's because I was learning as I went along. Coming up with new ideas and techniques to get it juuuuuust right! Ah well. Things to use on my next pic!
