Here is my entry to the #PixelPlaza Avatar Contest! I doubt I'll win, because not only is this pretty bad, but there are so many awesome entries! For instance, ~Czar-the-Dragon 's entry is amazing! I'm just putting out there in the hope that I might win an honourable mention!If anyone wants to tell me what can be improved, then please do!

If I'm honest, I prefer yours over Czar's. It's more colourful, and eye-catching, and pixel-tastic whut.
The only thing that really caught my eye is those clouds. Same shape, same everything
Though I think the cloud's shouldn't be behind the blue one, or that close to the emotes, it's generally all-round good, anyway
And when I look at the birds, think more 'bats' than 'birds'...but that's probably just me

Oh wait O_O I honestly didn't realise. I didn't copy those clouds! I had a mixture of rough plans, and I guess that my mind just... copied the clouds?
But it wasn't a copy and paste...

Although, yes, it's understandable.
You know, the process was simple... Draw a few circles, fill in the gaps
If I'm honest, I don't really trust myself. Maybe my subconscious remembered the clouds, and then just re-drew them.

Not disbelieving, or mistrustful, or doubtful, or even sceptical...more...flabbergasted. With a hint of befuddlement.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case; often, I end up contradicting previously-written statements of mine in stories, simply because the subject is on my mind, and the subject of that subject's negative appeal is on my mind also!
