So, I think this poor guy might have been shot. I don't quite know...I've been wanting to try out an effect like this for a while, and just tried it out now. Does it look alright?
I think this might have partly been made as an alternative for '/ded', or '/shot' or something similar. Again, I don't know.

Yeah, definitely more towards zombie 
I familiarise that with the zombie emote because they look similar, so I assume it's a zombie.
