Description
“When an Angel, falls from Grace …”This turned out totally opposite as what I intended it to be. It was conceived as a Being of Light … something that would have come out of Lothlorien. But it wasn’t to be. IT, wanted to be dark. It made me make it go darker and darker and darker. I wonder why. I wonder who broke it, that now it no longer has any goodness left within. But, perhaps there is, deep within its soul. Though it was left so broken, that goodness could never surface again. Not unlike what Sauron did to the Elves, who became the Uruk-hai(s).
And so the Angel has fallen …
This mixed media journal was constructed mostly with clay, decorators’ caulk and paint. Other elements to the assemblage are galvanized metal and hardware rusted organically, old clock gears, a silver filigree and a Zebra Jasper.

I have one question : Isn't the book too heavy ? Because I saw that you used argile to do this, and argile is pretty heavy, isn't it ?

as to your request, it is really difficult for me now to do a step by step. but i can certainly share with you the mediums that can be used to create this.
the clay i use is a 2-part epoxy clay. the brand is Apoxie Sculpt. go to avesstudio.com and you can buy it there. i like to use white becos i can paint it after, or age it with acrylics. having said that, i do not use this clay for the whole of the surface. for the background, i use something called decorator's caulk. it comes in a tube and you need a gun to use it. you can get these from any hardware store. just make sure you buy the paintable acrylic ones and not the silicone ones. you cannot paint on the silicone ones. take a look at this entry in my blog, you'll be able to see the caulk gun : [link]
