This is the first of a series I did of posters based on key song lyrics in my life.

I've developed a real interest in typography, and while it isn't just me having fun, it is me trying something different for myself.

I love Arial Black, and its become a sort of "signature" for me.

As for the piece itself, this has to be my single favorite Metallica lyric of all time. The first line in "Dyer's Eve", the song simply punishes you from start to finish!

Going straight to the heart of the matter, it demands to know why his parents created a nightmarish life for them, brought them into a world they find mean and cruel. And, really, who hasn't felt like that?
