не слушай их! отличное сочитание глубоких синих с бордовым! без нее было бы одиноко, и пахло бы не законченностью!

Great original traditional painting. Good work on the subtle colors and moody background. The tree and the character are both well done. Don't have much more to say, good work

Beautiful. I love the textures and how the colours blend. The red and gold gives really nice contrast to the rest of the piece. I like her peaceful expression, and I think it sets the mood to the whole painting. It's very calming to look at actually

great work!

From Co-Ci-Mo

I love the technique used on this piece, I think it's the best finger/hand painting I've ever seen... I also like the tones used in it, it's a very cool feel. Which makes the red headpiece stand out as very odd, the value and tone of it make it scream out maybe more than it should. And the right side (our left) of her face is a little bit off, I think the perspective and proportion don't quite match the other side and make it seem very flat. It lacks the depth that the other side pulls off so well.

Other than those two small things though, I think this work is brilliant!

thank you for your comment! i really appreciate that youve found time for it. This piece is a part of a huge picture, whith 2 trees, that are opposite in shadowing, so the left side is a center of the picture, where this to trees connected to each other. Im glad that youve noticed, i really got some problems with composing this space. i was too much into solving it, so didnt pay enough of attention to painting itself. Ok now i know - bad job is visible thanks! you helped me really

On Co-Ci-Mo there's a request for a crit there.

I have to say I am very impressed with this work, the color tone, the details, & the fact this is a finger painting blows me away.

When I first saw this I wanted to see more of the subject--my eye wanted to see more of her & the tree not the negative space taking up the majority of the picture. She is SO interesting I got greedy & wanted more.

Now that I saw it was part of a whole--the negative space makes more sense. But She is def strong enough to stand alone so give her room--she's too beautiful to be hugging the side of the picture like that. (Granted, there's really not a whole lot of room for her, seeing as the canvas ends.. O_o)

Again--I am impressed. Your subject has a Mona Lisa appeal--a certain mystery that only she knows & she looks so regal. The red & gold hat is brilliant--it enhances her by giving her an ageless beauty of a wise old tree. Breathtaking.

your detail is impeccable! ! ! And I love the depth of the branches. So you say this is done with your hands instead of brushes? Then this is the best finger painting I've seen! What size was the canvas?

its around 2x2,5 meters, so i didnt have much of problems to paint it this way acctually ive decided to paint w hands, cuz i didnt have a brush that was big enough, and im too lazy to paint huge things w small brushes

Olesia,

Amazing. No brushes?! Why not? If you can't afford them, I'd send you some. But it looks like it's not necessary. You have a unique technique--your own hands.

If this is supposed to be a "dark" subject, OK. But I see a rather benevolent view in your painting.

All the best,

Robert Tracy
