A rather fun commission that I had the pleasure of working on, my largest piece for awhile. The client requested some cardinals on a tea-stained background, and they loved the thumbnail that I came up with.The tea-stained background was a challenge because well, tea doesn't exactly absorb and stain primed canvas well. I had to recreate the tea look with acrylics but I think it turned out nice enough.
