Description Bit of a personal challenge, need to loosen up.

I'm planning on doing a series with these, the African Big Five, just as soon as I get my hands on some more canvases.

Your welcome and red such a versatile colour with many different meanings in one colour which is what makes it a great colour one minute its the colour of something good next the colour of something bad

At first I thought it was a big, scary tarantula but when I saw African Five I realized it was a Cape Buffalo. How do you get the fur to look that way? All shaggy and wild?

Haha interesting! These rough pieces need some interpretation

I honestly put zero thought into the methods I used here, I literally slapped paint over the canvas. I only used big brushes (the smallest one was a filbert brush that was 1/2" wide, which is pretty big for a small canvas), so I just slashed my brush loaded with undiluted paint across the canvas in the approximate direction of the fur.
