Description
Every once and a while I paint something that I actually want to show to the world because I am so proud of it.This is one of those pieces.
Its a contest entry for for their Endangered Africa contest. I chose, obviously, the cheetah.
I aimed for those pleading eyes, those "save me" eyes.
The colours seem a bit off here on my computer, they're more golden-brown in real life.
Painted with acrylics on a 11"x14" canvas <3

It was originally for an endangered species contest, and I wanted to go with a pleading look. Other than that, it just kinda happened! Still one of my favorite pieces of mine <3

Well, you definitely cought that look, that was the first thing I've noticed. And it perfectly match with the topic, you're genius!

Well the first bit of advice for painting on canvas, is don't be afraid to mess up. All you have to do is paint over it, and start again! 
I do have some pretty fine brushes, but making fine strokes comes with practice too. The larger your canvas, the less fine your details have to be (unless you are like me and detail the crap out of it anyway). It also does help to have some decent quality paints and brushes, I'm slowly building my supplies stock.
