there's still a lot of grain in the image because of the extremely slow rendering speed, and because my poor cpu is throttling under the 100 degree celsius heat!
it's a generalised (hypercomplex) julia set.

the one i'm looking at is a 600W modular unit, with 50A on the single 12V rail. definitely overkill, but bad PSUs have killed two of my computers in the past
