this is quite lovely.. I wouldn't expect the red background to work so well, wise coloring and lighting overall... and as someone has said, the balance is particularly strong with that black part on the right. great job!

Maybe we have an overzealous fractal purist running around reporting miscats. 
As far as postwork goes, this really doesn't look like more than you could do in UF... Doesn't look like you've painted on it or anything.

and yeah, i wish there were more accountability with this recategorisation thing; like when some iq < 80 mod decides he knows better than the author about fractals and moves it, it is tagged with his name so proper complaints can be made (possibly getting him fired for being a retard).

People make mistakes, and believe it or not, the volunteers and myself are human!

I already know that we're humans, and mistakes happens..specially in fractal art (some fractals are very hard to recognize)
In my case, I have solved the problem by explaining the fractality in the most confusing pieces. In that way the admins can see where the fractal is

It's ok. I would get pretty pissed off about stuff too before I realized the magnitude of how things work behind the scenes here. It's easy
to forget that there are 1800 categories, 7 million users and 65 non paid volunteers that are doing their best to try to keep things smooth.
With this new reporting desk, I fucked up quite a few.
