Voltaire is charming, mysterious, and an overall good romantic. Don't be fooled by this however, for shortly after he fully gains your trust, he will make your life a living hell to feed the many mouths he has scattered across his body. Mainly feeding off of heartbreak and pain, he has a hunger that can NEVER be satisfied.

Okay so to give some explanation on why Voltaire is Zalgo??? Like... I hate a LOT of human Zalgo's I've seen... Red hair, anime boy, 17 looking, Tsundere... It's gotten annoying to me.. I like the idea that Zalgo is more of a mature, sly, leader type of guy. Kind of how he is in Comickit 's PastaMonsters (I'm sorry for mentioning you in my art a lot fam, I really am.) The fact that he is like.. the ruler of an entire UnderRealm place means he should be serious. He shouldn't be some kawaii-desu "It's not like I like you or anything, you baka" type of character. He is a leader. He has rules and laws that should not be broken. He will tear down anyone or anything that gets in his way. In the ref sheet you may notice it says that he can be in two places at once, and there is a good reason for that. If he's in the UnderRealm but he needs to make sure someone in the human realm isn't going to mess up (or if he is just looking for a way to feed his pain addiction) he will use his human form, Voltaire Normans, to be in the HumanRealm. That way, Zalgo can be in the UnderRealm, whilst Voltaire can be in the HumanRealm, both at once! So your main question may still be... Why did I make him..?

There's this spirit demon guy who I see in my dreams a lot and basicallyyyyyy, he looks like how I draw him.
He claims to be Zalgo, but actually isn't Zalgo, but takes on the form of Zalgo, and also rules his own realm like Zalgo....
AND BASICALLY
I've had like conversations with him via the Ouija board with my friends with said Zalgo, said Zalgo has explained how he looks, and other spirits have confirmed that Zalgo(the one who calls himself Zalgo but isn't actually Zalgo) exists, and has basically been following me.
So I just draw him how I see him.
Just to further the insanity you have just read, I played Cards Against Humanity with said demon spirit dude and he won.
Both times.
