Description Been playing Dragon Age Inquisition a lot lately and that's what you are in the game, head of the Inquisition
Lots of sharp blades and armor in it. Great game and the scenery is so gorgeous in the different regions, from deserts to lush forest So many things one could say about the game, but better not. Don't want to create any "spoilers" for those who are playing it.

I had immense fun as my female elf mage Inquisitor. The companions were awesome.

Thank you Phil I don't remember if I have asked if you play PC or console games?

Me? playing a game? wow...
The last console I have bought was a Nintendo 16
And the last two games I played with was The Longuest Journey Β and the Myst/Riven series

I have a few excuses: I hateΒ the "Bang-bang-you're-dead" style of games, and I don't have enough patience.
Now when I want to play, I fire up Poser...
Furthermore, there are so many things that I'd like to do with Poser that I really need more free time

Ah, just checking ... many of us "computer geeks" like playing too
I used to play a lot more in the past before I discovered 3D and image making, but sometimes comes a game I get hooked on
Yes, the EU should make a directive that there is 36 hours in a day, otherwise there is never enough time

When I entered the geeks world, long time ago, I used to play very often. It was completely addicted to a few sagas such as the King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Space Quest... It were fun games. And it lasted a few years, until I discover Bryce and Poser.
And now, I don't have enough time for Poser. I know that I could have fun with Skyrim and all the gmods available. But I won't start.
Because of the key words: free time....

Ah, yes, I remember those games

Games like Skyrim and Dragon Age do require a lot of time. I think I played Skyrim over 200 hours to finish it. At around 100 with Dragon Age now ... but then I always try to take the longest possible road There are so many side quests and other things one doesn't have to do to finish the game, but I try to find and do them all

Are you playing it on a console or your PC? All I've read says the PC version is very 'buggy'. I've been holding off until they ironed the bugs out...Β

On my PC, I hardly ever use my console. Has worked well for me. I've played 90+ hours since Christmas and it has crashed maybe 3-4 times. Every time it was in a battle and gave an error message about the nVidia driver.Β
As all Dragon Age games the intro felt hectic and crazy, as it makes one run around like a headless chicken before one even knows the controls properly. As it calms down and you get into the game and start exploring it just feels better and better

Thanks...Β
I'm just about completely burned out on Skyrim--- and I keep perusing the game stuff that's out there looking for something that can keep my interest--the catch being that I really want a single-player type of game because I...'don't play well with others'... LOL... I've been eyeballing the Elder Scrolls Online now that you buy the game and play for free. Β From what I can determine, if I want to, I can go off in a corner somewhere and become a smith or alchemist--and avoid all of the big, hard-core gamers battles. Those simply don't interest me much. Β And I don't want anything to do with a 'modern' 1st person 'shooter' game. I got to do that for real a few decades back. Somehow the idea of playing a game & doing the same crap just doesn't appeal.... Β I'll stick with the dragons, swords & magic.Β

I loved Skyrim too and I want my games to be single player as well. Dragon Age Inquisition is similar, but different enough to not feel like the same. The "war map room" is a great idea. You access/delegate missions and access new regions from it and choose inquisition perks as you acquire them. So far the story has been great, many areas are really big and there is a "million things" to do. Armor and weapons crafting is really useful now. The different styles of terrain and scenery is just gorgeous ... as are the creatures and things you encounter.
Β
Is Skyrim or D.A.I. better? In my book they are both great, enjoyable and simply as good as it gets I just wish I could be a Khajit in D.A.I.
