Sorry, What do you mean? My English is not very good, so I'm not sure, that I understand all clearly.

I dont know any place in web, where one can download this film. I've got my copy from another Matsumoto fans. If you live in Russia, this problem would be easy to resolve, but at actual circumstances, I'm afraid, I can't help you.

It's fine! D: No, I live in the US, and on Amazon.com the dvd is near one-hundred dollars when a normal dvd is around twenty. They did show it at a recent animecon but it was at three in the morning.

Try scouring around some of the local dollar stores,that's where I got mine for $2.It was a REALLY lucky fluke,it was under the name "Vengeance of the Space Pirate" and it's been edited(removal of blood,some of the music changed,etc.),but it's the same movie regardless.

I like Maya as well. The denouement of AOMY movie made me so sad, that I decided to picture Harlock and Maya together in such a peaceful surroundings, in love and happiness.

*innocent* Perhaps the shoulder straps come off. They do look removeable. And the piping on the shoulders that's missing could be viewed as ranking. I still don't think much is missing. And if it is, it doesn't detract from your work and the feeling of the piece. Either way, I still love the fact he's got the Black Collar. So it had to be sometime durring the war... in a timeless moment of peace and happiness. Which in turn makes it all the more precious.

Maya was such a strong woman, for what little time we knew her, and it makes a lot of sense. Personally, I'm of the mind that they were married, but Tochiro and Emeraldas never finish the sentance, and I've not seen all of SSX so I'm not for certian.

A friend and I were talking, and we think that's she's the main reason you never see him with another woman (minus the half nekkid Mazone bit). The majority of women he encounters become close friends (Miime), or it's a brother-sister type relationship (Kei). Nothing romantic at all. It just makes me cry all the more at the end of the movie.
