When I shelled out the extra bucks for the cable subscription package which included the NickToons channel, I've been watching the Avatar show off and on alot lately....because the movie (which, incidentally, was a complete disappointment in 3-D) is out now in cinemas in my part of Creation, the channel's been running the cartoon quite frequently.

Actually, they're just doing the storyline of the first season in the movie. But I think if it does well, there might be two more, in which case expect to see Toph and the Earth Nation in the next film (but the next two may either be direct-to-video or just shown on Nickelodeon, but who knows).

Story-wise, it's not bad, but like I said, to see it in 3-D is kind of a waste of the extra money since the 3-D effects are rather mediocre compared to a money like Disney/Pixar's Up.
