Yus it is...there was a moment when Celestia was tempted by Ophedian to take the Orange Battery away from AppleBloom and to Claim it for herself:

“I could be as mother and father were…” she whispered. A glimmering orange band appeared in front of her. Celestia could feel the ring reaching out to her, it’s energy beginning to flow into her. It felt as if the copper band was quivering in anticipation. She raised her hoof.

"We will be greater then they were," her other self purred.

“They will call me The Empress of the Dawn and Matriarch of the Orange Light...”  Celestia whispered.

“…a light better held by a pony of infinite appetites willing to use that power for more than pursuing the intense but petty and limited desires of a child,” her orange double said. 
 

Princess Celestia stood still for the length of sever heart beats, staring into the glowing band.

Ah! I see. Though, honestly, I don't really see yet how Sweetie Belle could have the ability to inspire great hope the same way that Barry Allen Flash could in Blackest Night.
Nice on the other CMC Lanterns though!

Okay, so, before I share these with you, I need to let you know that I ship Sweetie Belle with Button Mash. And, in my universe, Sweetie Belle dies during the battle of Manehattan, when the Ponyvengers first fought against Eris (Discord's more evil sister); but, Sweetie Belle was resurrected as a White Lantern five years later. And, well, during that time, Button had to move on, so he fell in love with a new mare named Delila Charm.
