So here's the 411 on the MLP ships I support, accept, and dislike.WARNING: Some of my shipping choices might not agree with that of the general fandom, but that does not give a certain few the right to belittle/hate me for my choices.
PAIRINGS I LOVE:
LunaMac/LunaTosh/MacinLu
Heaven and Earth, Mortal and Divine, Opposites attracting in the truest sense of the term, I think this pairing has a lot of potential. Not to mention that they would complement each other very well. Note that Luna, while outgoing and dynamic, has had a thousand years of bad PR. Macintosh, while popular in his community, is very quiet and shy. Also, a good way to prove that love can transcend time/social differences/race/culture/a whole buncha other stuff.

Ever since The Ponyville Confidential, Celestia has been depicted as a sweet-tooth. And then, we have Donut Joe, who is, well, a pastry chef. And it has been said that the ladies do love a guy who can cook. It should also be noted that both live in Canterlot, and henceforth may have met.
Note: Celestia and Luna may be chronologically older than Mac and Joe, but their physical appearance makes them look younger than the males. Also, if Cadance has Shining Armor, why do we deny love to the Royal Pony Sisters?

So far, he has been seen with Sassaflash/Wind Whistler, but I think he works better with Applejack. Not to mention that they simply look good together.

Now this is the Earth Pony for Fluttershy. Like the aforementioned LunaMac, BraeShy would involve both parties complementing each other. And I think that the exuberant Braeburn would be pretty good at bringing the timid Fluttershy out of her shell.

I'm sorry to say this, but yes, I don't like FlutterMac. I know lot of you think it's cute and all, but I think it's bland and rather detrimental to their character development. Think about it, Fluttershy is quiet and shy, as is Big Mac. The bulk of their conversations would mostly be "..." and the atmosphere is just awk-waaarrrrd. Also, it's just so mainstream. And when they have foals, it's always a filly who acts like her mother every. Single. Freakin'. TIME.

Gilda and Spike
They're not ponies, so they'd best fit with members of their own species. Like Gilda with a male griffin, and Spike with a female dragon.

I have read three fanfics with decent enough OCs to pair with Luna. They are Stalwart Defender (Pegasus OC) from Valourousspectre's The Moonlight Guardian, Scrivener Blooms (Earth Pony OC) from BlackRoseRaven's Blooming Moon Chronicles (Moonrise, Lunar Lights, Starlit Knights, Metempsychosis, Because Love Conquers All, and Decretum), and Gothic (Unicorn OC) from bluecatcinema's Luna, Eclipsed and Luna Perigee.
So, this ends my lecture on what I ship and why. I hope this has explains by deviations and such. If you follow my ships, that's great. If not, it's okay. To each his own, after all.

In my headcanon, I pair Chrysalis with Sombra. Y'know, that "tainted love/unholy matrimony" type of dynamic a la Joker and Harlequin (Batman) or Shishio and Yumi (Rurouni Kenshin).

BraeShy is a nice touch, IMO. It may be crack, but it's good crack. TruffleSweetie is adowwable, and TwiBlood, well... There's probable potential for it.

Oh definitely! Best crack on the market, man! And what's funny enough is that it's like, super unpopular, yet not only do they have potential, but they've ACTUALLY MET. 0_0 Not that interaction matters to me for a pairing or whatever, but if people are gonna complain about Flutters being paired with someone else "because they haven't talked" but then they turn right around and ship FlutterMac, my head will explode from the hypocrisy.
Other than that I agree completely. <3 There needs to be more SweetieShuffle and Twiblood shippers.

But yeah... I am curious, though, what is your reason for liking BraeShy? In my case, I just pretty much compared it to NaruHina, which I ship vigorously. It's not exactly the same, but there some slight parallels.
And also, what exactly are your views/headcanon on LunaMac (my OTP), TruffleSweetie, and TwiBlood?

My reason would have to be it reminds me a bit of FlutterPie honestly. Just...minus the fact that Brae's not thought of a crazy killer by most of the fandom and he's not obsessed with making a party for every. Single. Thing.
I think Fluttershy would need someone who's willing to push her to new heights/raise her confidence but not to be TOO forceful about it, as say, Dash would or something. Braeburn seems to be exactly the guy to do that!
Well considering I'm still playing around with my headcanon pairings, I'll say my view on them:
LunaMac - Luna as we all know is lonely. I mean, who wouldn't be after being banished to the moon for a thousand years? From what I can gather Big Mac is a simple but kind farmer guy, someone just Luna needs. I suspect they'd meet at the Gala or some kind of meetup where the Princesses would stand with the citizens. Say it's the same thing with Soarin' and Applejack: Big Mac is having unsuccessful with selling his apple products at the gathering and Luna, being socially awkward but not exactly wanting to deal with the mini paparazzi that's formed around her, decides to escape them and wander around. She meets up with Big Mac, asking him what he's doing here alone and not celebrating with the other ponies. Big Mac replies that he needs to sell the apples for money so they could STILL fix that old hole in the barn. Luna feels bad for him and takes the whole bushel, leaving quite a good amount of bits in her wake. Macintosh is quite grateful and surprised by this, so he vows he'll meet the princess again. They eventually do, and you can guess what happens from there. 
SweetieShuffle - Based on my own story for it, I like to think that Sweetie has a crush on Spike while the dragon still likes Rarity. However the problem is that Apple Bloom likes him too! This then leads to a fight between the girls and endangering their friendship. Scootaloo, stuck in the middle of it all, refuses to deal with this and slowly grows apart from the girls, who either ignore her or when either one is with her, they complain about the other being a pain in the flank. After a few weeks, Sweetie becomes depressed; hating herself for fighting with her best friend, hating herself that she liked Spike, and hating Spike for being so selfish. It's during this time that she befriends a colt she doesn't normally talk to in her class: Truffle Shuffle. Truffle notices something's wrong with Sweetie and asks if she's alright. Sweetie simply tells him nothing, but she kind of breaks down right there and it's extremely awkward. Truffle tells her it's alright and he walks away. The next day Sweetie Belle goes up to him and apologizes for her little meltdown the previous day, telling the whole story between her, Spike and Apple Bloom. Truffle sympathizes, knowing all too well what it's like to be in a love triangle. They eventually become good friends while the CMC are kinda torn apart. While it's not the same, Sweetie grows to get used to it. After a little while, Sweetie starts to crush on Truffle himself. However he seems rather oblivious to her feelings, and is about to give up when on Hearts and Hooves Day he gives her a card. After that, she works things out with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo and then it's a happy ending.
Twiblood - This one's a little short, but I'd have to say if Twilight's been Celestia's apprentice since she was a little filly, she'd had to have at least met Blueblood at one point. When she does, it's definitely not opposites attract. Twilight thinks of Blueblood as ungrateful and conceited while the prince thinks of the bookworm as a "commoner" and "boring". They go their separate ways, and while they don't really see each other, they do sometimes meet up with Celestia for meeting and whatnot. As they grow older, however, both of them decide to apologize for the way they acted all those years ago. They do, and they become friends at first. Friends turn into good friends, good friends turning into a crush. And you can imagine the rest for yourself.

Hee... I like the way you pulled off the LunaMac and TruffleSweetie, makes me wonder if you ship LunaMac, too, 'cuz if you do, I have an FC dedicated to that.
As for the TwiBlood, I've always imagined Ol' Bluey being Twilight's only other friend (aside from Spike) in the castle. He'd probably have a secret crush on her, but she's oblivious to it. Then comes the Grand Galloping Gala, and Blueblood finds the opportunity to confess to Twilight, but he can't because Rarity got to him first, and at that point, you know the rest. And after Celestia learns what happened between him and Rarity, she sends him off to Ponyville to make amends. And of course, after Rarity realizes that Blueblood likes someone else, she'll help him confess to Twilight.

We ship a lot of the same things,actually. Macinpie is my OTP and I'm a bit obsessed with it,lol. I like trixblood,the cakes and shining armor x cadence, derpy whooves,rarity and fancy pants,I kind of like rainbow dash and soarin but I'm still looking at other options. I don't ship anyone with applejack yet,and I ship braeshy. I have a headcannon for Twilight sparkle where the doctor forgets derpy due to an accident,and falls in love with twilight sparkle. derpy thinks that the doctor went missing,and is heartbroken when she sees him with twilight.twilight does a memory spell on the doctor and he remembers derpy,but then he has to choose between her and twilight. I won't tell you who he chooses yet because I'll probably make this into a fanfic sometime soon.
aside from that I like background pony ships like lyrabon and octascratch. I kind of like vinyl scratch with neon lights,but it seems more like they'd be brother and sister. I agree with your opinion on fluttermac and sparity. If I could wipe one pairing off the face of the earth I would be torn between those two.

Actually, canon seems to say that Big Mac is older than Cheerilee, not the other way around. Assuming that the mane six are all around the same age (except Fluttershy, who's a year older than Pinkie Pie), Cheerilee would be around the same age as them, and therefore younger than Big Mac.
As we see in The Cutie Mark Chronicles, in Applejack's flashback, Big Mac is taller than her, and it's been outright stated other times that he's older than her. As for Cheerilee's age, you can see her in Rarity's flashback - she's the second from the left in the play or whatever Rarity designed costumes for. She's about the same height as Rarity in this scene, and I doubt she would be in it if she was actually 30, so as you can see, she's about the same age as the mane six. I don't like Cheerimac either, but it doesn't make sense to hate it because she's older, because she isn't.
I gotta say, I hate all of these pairings except the canon ones (The Cakes, Shining Cadence(and even that one I like breaking from time to time, just to pair one of them with Chrysalis)), but it's cool if you like them. After all, the world would be boring if everyone liked the same things.

And to make things clear, the thing with an older lady, younger guy is more or less culture-based, so yes. And besides, I also mentioned that their interaction seemed rather awkward.

Yeah, I still don't know where that 80's Cheerilee photo fits into the timeline.
And yeah, they were really awkward together in Hearts and Hooves Day. What I hate is people who claim that they're canonically together because they pretended to be at the end of the episode. It was pretty obvious they were just doing it to tease the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

Actually, There are is a myths saying that a dragon can mate with a unicorn. Same apply for a griffon and a horse. You really need to brush up more on your mythology.also I support Sparity, but I pair rarity with an older spike. I also pair My OC with Queen Chrysalis. Take a guess who I paired Gilda up with.

I haven't been reading much mythology, so you'll have to forgive me on that aspect. But I am rather familiar with the griffin + horse. And I believe the offspring of such a union is a hippogriff, yes?
As far as pairings go, if you like Sparity, it's OK. After all, it's your choice. As for who you paired with Gilda, I'm going to guess that it's either Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash.
