I'm driving wreckless once againwatching the needle not the road
see it slide into the red
wondering how much I need to feel okay again
I need to get this out
I hold my breath and let the engine scream instead
pushing the pedal down with all my hate
trembling fists closed tight around the wheel
my body stiff with rage and fear
all I can do is stare
unseeing eyes dilated lika a deer
caught in the headlights of a truck

Firstly, I like the title.
I like the emotion, its tense and the narrator just seems out of control. I'm so bad at leaving comments.
