It's already overthough we've not yet begun
you've moved on from here
you never did stop
but I'm stuck here
stalled on the phone
you blew me away
didn't pause for a look
you were gone in a flash
left me stunned in the dust
another mistake,
again I'm too slow
words burnt in my flesh
all I hear is the tone
you hung up so fast...
did you know I was there?
we should do this again
the way we do every day.
I'll call you again,
to say I love you
you'll hang up the phone,
and I'll say "hello"

I get a feeling of being disjointed, awkward and out of sync. The peice does not flow as the previous one did, but in this case it's appropriate considering the content.

Yeah, I'm a sundowner by nature. Somehow it seems that that's the time I'm most productive. Go figure. I don't usually get a chance to stay up late though (school/work tend to prevent that), but when I do things like this 'happen'.
