Interesting character. Did you ever get to write the story about her. I assume that losing her leg must have been part of the story. I like the way that you used the idea of the bottom end of a wooden crutch to make her leg for her.

it wasn't supposed to be from a violin, but maybe i was influcenced or something. I just was thkning of how it might be put together.
on second thought, i think i was thinking of how crutches are put together....eh...*i shound crazy*
