Description
This gives new meaning to the phrase "work of art". Emphasis on work. It was worth it though. If I can ever finish writing the storyline, I'll try and draw some pages out of the story. My inspiration came from a Chuck Norris Joke, actually, and the fact that whenever I asked someone who they thought would win (Vader or Batman), they all said Vader. I wanted to see if I could figure out a way for the caped crusader of Gotham to take down the most powerful Jedi of them all. Enjoy!!!Created entirely from scratch except for the globe and the two logos. Batman is copyright DC comics, and Darth Vader copyright Lucasfilm Inc.

I'll say Vader. He can just force choke the life out of Batman. I respect if you like Batman the best, i like him too, but Vader has been my favourite movie villain eves since i was a child

Force choke is definitely the best move to use against Batman. But I suspect Batman would have something in his utility belt to throw and break Vader's concentration briefly enough to escape.

Batman is a great detective, so I guess he would study Vader's weaknesses and use them.
He can also use his stealth to get to Vader in a great manner.
Using his great fighting skills and brain, I guess he will be fast enough to stop Vader from getting his saber and knocking him out.
The willpower argument is a good one against his Force.

I agree that Batman would win, but not by stealth since Vader could probably detect him using the force, at the very least.

I think Batman would win, hands down. Most force powers that effect people like that are warded off by a strong willpower and I challenge anyone to think of someone with a will that is more powerful than Batman's. So that removes Vader's force abilities, since he isn't using direct damage stuff like Force Lightning and puts the ball in Batman's court. Batman has got to be the best combatant ever (considering he can Judo flip people that are far more powerful than him).

(Though I totally agree Batman would win)

In KotOR, Force Choke can be negated by a successful will save. So I think it is at least something that can be shrugged off by sheer willpower. So, as long as Batman had a lightsaber, I think Batman would win.

I don't know that I would base this on videogames... They *have* to make powers balanced or the game is unplayable. I still think Batman would win, but I don't think he'd be invulnerable to force choke.
I think the key to Bats' survival is this: Vader's electrical arms and legs would be useless in the event of an electromagnetic pulse. All Bats has to do is short out Vader's circuits before he can be force-choked.

Maybe, I think that in a number of scenarios Batman wins, with or without the Lightsaber. Vader is too slow after losing all of his limbs and his powers don't outright kill, which is what gives ol' Bats' the edge in the fight.
All of that is moot of course. Since in a fight between Vader and Batman, Chuck Norris always wins.

Ummm... yes they do. Force choke killed MANY Imperial Officers, he can shove somebody off a ledge without touching them, and he has a sword that cuts through anything. Batman would win, for sure, but only because he's faster and could probably set up an electric pulse to screw with Vader's cybernetics.

First off, I said he doesn't have any powers that outright kill, not that he doesn't have powers that can kill. The difference being that he cannot kill somebody instantaneously with the force. In the time it would take to kill Batman he could already disable Vader. Not too mention, that people with extraordinary willpower can resist many force powers, including force choke. If anyone has the will to overcome those things, it is Batman.
Next, light sabers cannot cut through anything. Cortosis cannot be cut by light sabers and in large enough quantity could even shut off a light saber.
I think if the two of them fought 1000 times over (akin to deadliest warriors) Batman would win more than Darth Vader, but I do think the margin would be fairly slim with maybe 550-560 wins for the Bat and 440-450 wins for Darth Vader.

Vader would use the Force to either absorbe or deflect the heat vision. Superman is vulenerable to magic, face it the forc is a type of intersterler magic when you get down to it. So all of Vaders powes are magig AND the Light-saber is created using the force so it would be consider magical against Supeman also. As for Batman a few round of Force-choke or Force-lightning would take him out unless he knew about Vaders abilities going into the fight and had time to plan a counter move against them. That is truely Bamans greats weapon in a fight, his use of his detictive skills to find out about friends and foes alike both strenghts and weakness before he has to face them him self so that he can prep a counter to their abilities!

I don't think you can call the force magic, though if it were, Supes would be toast. The reason why the force isn't magic is because of how its described. First of all, anyone with midichlorians can access it. Also, take Obi Wan's description of it:
"The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together. "
Its an energy field, not magic. That said, Vader could definitely deflect the heat vision, but he would still lose very quickly to Superman's speed and invulnerability. The light-saber would not penetrate him, unless it was made of Kryptonite.
As for Batman, I agree that he could only have a chance if he had time to study Vader's moves and combat style. If caught in a force choke, I think he would use some kind of ancient chinese meditation technique to fake his death, then throw some kind of electrical shock pellets to short out Vader's mechanical limbs. Or he could just throw them during the choke. He'd have to throw alot also, because Vader would be able to stop some of them Neo-style.

After the Episode I you never hear of midaclorians again in the movies. In the RPG system that handels the Star Wars universe the Force is covered both ways in one game system ie the midaclorian/energy route or the mysterious all encoping power that is the Force or Sith sorcery (actualy handeled more like magic).

Well, according to my star-wars-fanboy friend they come up in the comic books. Point is, the Force is an energy field, not magic. Magic is more like, like you say incantations and perform rituals. The force is more like a connection to everything and the ability to control stuff.
So I stand by my conviction that Superman would pwn vader. Vader doesn't even have real arms or legs, they're bionic. Superman would have no ethical problems with removing those, and then wouldn't Vader be nearly powerless? Or the helmet. He could just remove the helmet, and Vader would be toast.

One arm is still real. Remember that was how he was holding on at the edge of the lava untill palpatine got there. The rest I will conceed to as I was going by the RPG material.

That arm had already been cut off. In the second movie. That's right: Anakin lost an arm, and then Obi-Wan cut off all of his other limbs IN ONE BLOW.

Oh, sure, Batman vs. Superman = Batman hands down. He's won that fight like 3 times, my personal favorite in Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again where he sicks the Flash, The Atom, Green Arrow, his cave, and hawkman on him only to beat him senseless with gigantic Kryptonite boxing gloves. Awesome.
