Alisa ends up doing a lot of hiding. It's could honestly be something so simple as she just had a rough day. Though she is like an open book it doesn't really stop her from denying it. Alisa has a fear of hurting those around her which causes her to hide if she's hurting, especially around her kids. So Alisa has a lot of emotion that is bottled up. Though Danny has an ability to read emotion from tone of voice to expression. With Alisa being an open book it's not hard for him to read what's going on with her. Which makes it easier for him to act upon it.
