So, since I doubt people read journal entries, I'll show what I've been working on for the past week here.Call it an obsession, but I wanted to make sure that I can fine-tune these brawl hacks to absolute perfection(probably won't happen), so I won't have much reason to go back to them anymore(probably will happen).
So I've taken up texture hacking and I've tried to take the more cartoony models and make them fit more into Brawl's gritty, realistic atmosphere. Because I like that kind of art style for that game (also rim-lighting is SERIOUSLY OVERRATED)
So I've touched up the textures for Skyward Sword Link as you can see here. I put material textures on the clothing, desaturated the blade, and made his shield darker and more worn-out. I've already done the same treatment for Classic Link, Koopa Troopa, and a few Captain Falcon models, as well. Once I get permission from the people who originally uploaded these models, i'll upload the models I've worked on so you can try them out for yourself whenever I do a CSP Preview for that particular character.
So long story short, if I can, I'll upload the SS Link to the Brawl Vault when I finish Link's CSP Preview.

Looking pretty good! Over the summer, I had a crazy obsession with Brawl mods. I replaced most of the music, a ton of the stages, reorganized the SSS a few times, put in a few texture and model mods.

That's basically this page in a nutshell. Whenever I downloaded model mods, most of the time the portraits included(if any) were very lackluster, so I took it upon myself to make my own. And all of what you see here on my page is a result of all that.
