(I can almost feel my page growing more and more niche as the days pass. Seriously me? Video Game Based Mind Control Roleplaying. Good god. Anyway, this is 2B from a game called NiER: Automata. "I don't really know. First thing I remember was being patched into the machine network in this facility, then cutting the power generator."

“We were searching for data and a possible machine threat in this area, and it appears we’ve found you.”

"So you have." I smile. "Could I trouble you for my schematics? As you can see, my legs are inoperational. That might help me repair myself."

“Perhaps. Once you’ve answered all of our questions and we’ve determined you’re not a threat.”
She replies

"Fair enough." I shrug. "Myself, I've just been working on this thing, and gathering whatever data I can with it."

She asks, unsure of your intentions

"Just seemed... natural, I guess. I like it. I like knowing things." I shrug.

“I will give you the schematics on one condition. Promise not to interfere with Yorha operation in your territory, and we will provide you with assistance if you ever need it.”

"Sounds like a deal, I think. It's been a pleasure, Commander." I nod. "May I get a frequency to contact you or some representative one?"

“I’ll have 6O tune you into the Yorha line.”
She replies.
“Thank you for your time, sending the schematics to your rig now.”

Immediately I give 60 a call, just long enough to blow a kiss, then turn to 2B.

2B crosses her arms.
“Are we done here?”

"Don't see why not. Lovely meeting you, 2B." I nod. "Oh, if you find any interesting chips or schematics, I'd be happy to buy them from you."

She looks back at the way she came in, waiting for it to open

"Um... no, no, you're good... Just... do your thing..." You hear a recording of that scanner's voice playing in the background.

She asks

She yelps, and cuts the connection.

She whirls around and runs towards the rig.
“You in there! What’s going on?”

The doorway's closed again, but a speaker plays.
"Hm? Is something wrong?"

She tries to reach 6O.
“Answer me! Now! What are you listening to”

"Calm down, 2B. We're just going to have a talk about professionalism with your operator." The commander's voice chimes in after a moment.

“May I come back to the Bunker then?”
She asks, scowling, doing everything she can to keep her emotions down

"Unfortunately not. We have a confirmed report of an actual colossus in the area. We need it taken out."

She bites her lip, hard.

She sighs, heading towards the location on her map. Drawing her sword, furious about this scanner, and wanting to take her anger out on a giant machine

It's... big. She sees a lot of smaller machines below it--even she can feel the hacking signals it's emanating...

She shakes her head, putting up her firewalls as she gets closer, drawing her sword, ready to fight

The air is thrumming with signals. She's good, but it'll be tough to dodge all the attacks and the hack attempts...

There’s no response. She must be getting a stern talking-to from HR. Looks like 2B is on her own. Meanwhile, a little walker waddles around the concrete she’s behind...

She runs it through with her sword without a second thought. She couldn’t proceed, it wouldn’t be smart.

She dodges a sword blow, only to be caught in the back by a hacking signal. Not impossible to fight off, but it takes precious moments to do so...
