Description
So, with the reveal of the upcoming show the other day, I found myself really liking the designs. I know a lot of people love TF: Prime's 3D, but I'll always love 2D at heart, and I really like the look of the new upcoming show. Kind of a fun blend between TF: Animated and Prime... Which I love. Since 'Bee, Fixit and Sideswipe was revealed, and I've seen a lot of people draw Sideswipe already... I decided to go for Bumblebee and Fixit. If for no other reason than simply that they remind me so much of Beast Machines Cheetor and Rattrap. (And I've always loved me some BM!)Well, hope you like.

Agreed I personally like Bumblebees Design from TFP Beast Hunters I'm questioning the new series though :/

Robots in Disguise...sigh.
They should've picked a different name. I mean, it's a tagline,Β Β there already was a show called "Robots inΒ Disguise,"Β it's a comic series, and a subname for the Prime toyline. It just makes everything more confusing.
All this aside, that's a cool picture! It looks like it could be official artwork!

It's not immediately obvious, but the show is actually 3D, it's just done in a manner to make it look 2D.

Well, at the time when I drew it, we didn't know that yet. But still I am excited for it, because I think a cel-style CGI is a style that's not been played with a lot in animation.Β

First off, congrats on what looks like one of the first pieces of RID fanart-- secondly, awesome work! You really made Bumblebee look cool here, between the bold, exaggerated lines and giving him the Star Sabre. ^^ Fixit looks cute off in the background there too, heh. And yes, I can totally see the parallels here between BM Cheetor and Rattrap, what with the yellow former rookie stepping up as the new leader and...well, Fixit also having wheels. XD Either way, great pic, and I can't wait for the new series...whatever shall I do between now and early 2015?

Ooooo, Bumblebee with the Star Saber looks really awesome! And you're right, there is some resemblence to Cheetor and Rattrap in BM. Good catch! I felt something similiar with Fixit having Rattrap's wheel-legs, but with Bumblebee being Cheetor? Makes sense!
