Great shot! The focus is so cool. I'm working on upgrading my macro FILTERS to a lens..but it's so expensive

Thanks Typical 50mm macro lenses are about $200, longer focal length macros go up a lot in price

this is incredible, how did you achieve that DOF with F/3.5? are the tops of the flowers really tall?

Thanks, the tops were indeed pretty long, about 3 inches. So while the pollen was close to the lens the background petals were a couple inches back

Camera was Konica Minolta MAXXUM 5D, lens was Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG Macro, taken outdoors in the evening, no direct sunlight, no artificial light.
