APRIL 2013 UPDATEEEEEEE:Oh hey look, I've actually gotten decent at using my tablet over the course of the last 3 months since I first got it. Good news, got a current style I'm satisfied enough with, so PMD-E - ho!
This app update has actually been sitting on my computer for a good month... not sure why I didn't post it yet. Anyway, hoping to get back into doing PMD-E stuff (for real this time) since I've been working a lot on drawing and how to make comics over the past 3 months. Now is a good time to start since there's still a good month left for Mission 8, so I will probably be starting that soon.
As you can see, I made a few design/info tweaks since the last app, but nothing drastic. Since this team isn't well-known in the community anyway, it doesn't really matter - but this is the style I hope to stick with when I get back to attempting some comickz.
There are a few things I will need to update in the bios below (possibly cut them down too) but again, it's nothing too drastic and will probably change with little notice.
Thanks everyone for the patience... now that I can actually work a tablet decently, making art will become a lot less of a hassle so I hope to update more frequently with stuff, including PMD-E. The only thing I have to worry about now are those annoying little bits of time where I lack motivation.
Team Apple Core:
Origins: Team Apple Core was founded by both Prince and Len in the Winter before Sorbet’s rampage. Prince, having departed away from home in search of employment, happened to meet up with Len around Tao Woods. The two unlikely partners ended up working together to rescue a young pikachu from becoming the snack of a notorious manectric named Loki – and after sharing a meal of apples together, Len was able to talk Prince into coming with him to Tao Village. Len was inspired to go there in order to do rescue work, and Prince was looking specifically for a job that would earn him money. Prince and Len came into Tao Village on the day Sorbet attacked, so their team registration was postponed until a later date. When things had finally started to settle down, Prince and Len paid a visit to Callahan and registered themselves with the Merchants Guild, under the name “Apple Core”. 
Namesake: “Apple Core” was the name given by Len, due to his love of apples – his favourite, favourite thing. Prince, due to his own lack of ideas at the time, simply consented to the name. 
Other: The official team colours of “Apple Core” are red, green and yellow. Much like the team name itself, the members of Team Apple Core are often seen or depicted eating apples on a regular basis for most meals, as Len never tends to get sick of them. ....................
Accessories:
Red bandanna: Len was wearing his red bandanna around his neck when he first met Prince in Tao Woods. He has yet to say much about it, but he has mentioned that he’s been wearing it ever since the day he decided he wanted to live his life to rescue pokemon in need. It appears to be of great importance to Len, as it seems to symbolise something – or rather, someone – of his past. He is very rarely seen without the garment around his neck. Yellow scarf: Prince’s yellow scarf was an item he obtained from Chrys on their way to registering their guild with Callahan. The tailor was giving out basic accessories for free, and Prince figured that that alone was worth the investment. According to him, he ended up taking the “cleanest looking one of the bunch”. He doesn’t always wear it on a regular basis, but he likes to wear it on his arm whenever Team Apple Core sets out for a mission. In being his only one true, personal belonging, Prince is very finicky about keeping it clean, and washes it every morning in the lake. ....................
Team Members:
Name/Aliases: Prince, Princeton Species: Minccino ♂ Notable Appearance Traits: He, as well as both of his brothers back home, have bright blue eyes. He also has three hair spikes on the top of his head and dark, expressive eyebrows. Origins: It is thought that Prince’s home burrow is somewhere north of Tao Woods – probably somewhere between Alolomola and Windswept Woods. Personality: Prince is probably what you would call a “lone mightyena”. Before coming to Tao Village with Len, Prince has lived most of his life in solitude – or at least, he always felt alone and unwanted despite the fact that he shared his burrow with an entire minccino tribe. From a young age, he learned to be dependent, particularly since he had no mother to take care of him. Unfortunately, though he’s good at looking after himself, he can come across as selfish to others. He isn’t very good at making friends, nor first impressions. He often couldn’t care less about pokemon he doesn’t know, but through being with Len, he’s learned to be more accepting of other pokemon and (near Mission 7) has even gone out of his way to forge friends and alliances, dreading the idea of being alone again.In general, he might come off as a jerk, or slightly annoying to someone who first meets him. However, upon getting to know him, he’s not really as bad as he seems. He is rather pessimistic and careless at times, but for someone (like Len) that he’s come to trust, his more concerned and caring side may surface. Sometimes he says things without thinking them through first, particularly when angered – which usually results in regret on his part.
Facts About Prince:- He’s “germophobic”, and has some compulsive washing habits. He doesn’t like coming in contact with dirt or anything that looks unclean, and will go out of his way to avoid them. He also washes his paws, scarf and food on a regular basis to stay hygienic. Prince’s germophobia has progressively gotten better over time, but not to the point of recovery.
- Prince hated both of his brothers, more-so King due to his bullying. When he was younger, he used to believe his mother would return for them in the burrow. The fact that she never did ended up teaching the older Prince to never get his hopes up about anything.
- Prince has a tendency to call other pokemon “nutters” or “nutcases”, but he doesn’t mean it in a particularly unkind way. He just thinks that anybody who doesn’t think like he does is crazy.
- He has a Manchester-like (Manc) accent and may use British slang in his speech.
- He seems to prefer it when things go according to plan… unfortunately, that doesn’t happen too often. Nothing seems to ever go his way, and for some reason, he often finds himself in embarrassing or humiliating situations.
- When Prince truly vents out his anger, he tends to direct it toward inanimate objects rather than the pokemon itself. This has probably stemmed from his fear of his brother when he was younger, which often resulted in him yelling at rocks and trees in frustration.
- He never calls Len by his real name, preferring to call him “Lenny”, as it (according to him) sounds like the name a kid would have. And Len, in his opinion, is very much a kid... and in truth, he is.
Name/Aliases: Len, Leonard; Lenny and “Kid” (Prince’s nicknames for him) Species: Bulbasaur ♂ Notable Appearance Traits: Len’s most defining trait is a large spot (aka: “patch”) over his right eye. Origins: Len was born and raised in Tao Woods. Prior to leaving home with Prince, he lived and was raised in those woods most of his young life, but had visited Tao Village from time to time after it was first built. Personality: Len could be described as having two sides to him. On a regular basis, he’s quite child-like and bubbly, often bouncing around and showing his enthusiasm for the things that mean a lot to him. He seems to have a happy view toward life in general, and has a particularly strong fondness for nature and fruit (apples are his favourite, of course!). He cares a lot about other pokemons’s emotions, whether he knows them or not. He simply wishes to live in a world where he can make everybody happy and has very strong opinions on how precious life is, and how so many pokemon seem to take it for granted. Things like seasons, sunsets and flowers mean a lot to him, and just being able to wake up every day and breathe in the fresh air is enough to cheer him up. The other side of Len is usually triggered when there’s someone in danger, or something is needed to be brought to justice. He transforms into someone very capable, determined and serious, swearing he’ll do whatever he can to set things right. When someone is in need of rescue, Len is probably the first pokemon to take a blow or risk his life for someone he cares about – or even someone he barely knows at all. On the dark side, this can make him quite reckless, diving into the heat of battle with no concern for his own life. Because he refuses to rest until a problem is settled, he may push himself into things when he’s too weak or in no condition to battle. He's younger than Prince is, and is still very much a child, but he can sometimes be surprisingly mature for his age.
Facts About Len:- Apples are his favourite food, particularly the leftover cores of the fruit. When he was younger, his mother used to give the apple cores of her own apples to Len after she was finished. For some reason, it has always been his favourite part of the apple to eat.
- Len had a childhood friend when he lived in Tao Woods with his mother, who was almost like a brother to him. It was this childhood friend that first inspired Len to do rescue work.
- He tends to stammer a lot around female pokemon, and sometimes pokemon of authority or a higher standing. He gets nervous around girls he doesn’t know well and often gets pink in the face when talking to one – the same tends to happen with guild leaders as well.
- He has a lot of favourite things, and will often contradict himself. For example, he may say Winter is his favourite because of the snow, but Spring is his favourite because of the rain.
- Unlike Prince, Len is quite unsanitary. He’ll eat berries off the ground, even if they’re covered in grime – much to Prince’s disgust.
- Len is a master at masking his emotions, appearing to be cheerful just to hide the fact that he’s hurt or sad deep inside. It’s usually very hard to tell if something is bothering Len.
- He’s not usually very judgmental, but he is very wary of the Rouges guild. He will still make friends with Rouges, but he definitely doesn’t agree with their motives most of the time.

Missions:
Mission 5 [link] – Prince and Len came into Tao Village to register their team, but were met with a surprise when they walked in on the village in the midst of its destruction. With no direction to go on whatsoever, Prince and Len ran around aimlessly until they came across Missy, who dropped off a trio of children into the team’s care. With renewed resolve, Prince and Len set out to escort the children out of the town and safely into Devonshire’s tunnel. They got separated along the way, when Len stayed back momentarily to help keep the Café from crushing the villagers, using his vine whip. Escorting the children then became Prince’s responsibility, who ended up taking a blow from Sorbet and falling unconscious. Len ended up having to drag an unconscious Prince and three children along with him to Devonshire’s tunnel, but in the end, everything turned out all right and Prince only suffered a minor head injury for the following couple of weeks. Mission 6 [link] – After Prince had recovered fully, both he and Len ended up staying in Merlot’s Castle with many of the other Tao residents who’s homes had been destroyed. After registering Team Apple Core with Callahan, the two of them embarked onto their first “official” mission: Helping to reconstruct the town – or, at least, that’s what they were planning on doing before they were accidently knocked unconscious by Team Gold Rush [link] and dragged along to King’s Rock Casino in Alomomola to take part in a magic show. There were some unexpected troubles on the way there, and Prince discovered the hard way the “true values of friendship” when Len ended up taking a selfless blow for Prince in order to save his life. During the magic show, Prince once again had to learn how to truly work together with his partner as a team, alike to the girls in Team Gold Rush. In the end, the magic show was successful, and Team Apple Core ended up taking a fair share of cash back home with them – as well as a sweet victory against Loki. Mission 6.1 – In the time after Prince and Len arrived back to Tao Village, they went back to work in building themselves their first official home and team base using some of the money they’d earned at the casino. The two of them had a lot of down-time, and Len ended up helping out some of the other villagers in growing new plant life around the recovering Tao. As the days rolled slowly by, however, something progressively began to change about Len, making him act strangely depressed and out-of-character. Mission 7 [link] – Prince, admittedly starting to get a little worried about Len’s change in behaviour, set out to figure out what the issue is. After the two of them finally finished building their new home, they sauntered over to the village square to see if there were any new missions to take. During their walk, however, Len mysteriously disappeared along with many other pokemon in the village. Prince is now left alone to figure out what happened to his partner and what to do next – and meanwhile, Len finds himself appearing suddenly in the dangerous depths of Prismatic Jungle with Prince no longer at his side… what will become of them next?

Friends/Alliances:
Team Heroic Rescuers: Don was the first pokemon Prince and Len ever rescued – they were the reason, in fact, that he ended up joining the Rescuer’s. Team Gold Rush [link] [link] : Soup and Mutton ended up journeying to King’s Rock Casino with Prince and Len in Mission 6 and participated in the magic show as well. ....................
Other Notable Characters (NPCs):
Name/Aliases: King, Kingston Species: Minccino ♂ Relation: Older brother of Prince. Bio: King was one out of the three minccino born together with Prince. Ever since he was younger, he’s always wanted to become a leader in their burrow tribe. Nothing seemed to get in the way of that dream, even if it meant going out during late hours to practise moves he wasn’t even allowed to start using yet. Once, when they were young, Prince witnessed King going out past curfew and told on him to one of the tribe leaders. This ruined King’s chance at earning the leaders’ respect, and he took out his anger on Prince that night, slamming him down into the dirt to warn him not to mess with him again. Ever since then, he’s always had a particular disdain for Prince, picking on him and often trying to prove how he’s the more “responsible” brother. He tends to control the youngest of the brothers, Duke, through fear, often using him as a means of siding with him and against Prince. Name/Aliases: Duke, Dukington Species: Minccino ♂ Relation: Younger brother of King and Prince. Bio: Duke is the youngest of the three minccino brothers. He’s a bit on the shy and quiet side, and tends to keep most of his opinions and feelings to himself. The night he witnessed King slamming Prince down into the mud kindled a sort of fear of his older brother – since then, he always found himself hopelessly forced onto King’s side in every argument due to the anxiety of ending up hated like Prince. In reality, he hates arguments and the fact that he is always roped into the tensions between his older brothers. A part of him does still fear King, but he also feels protected by him as well. Duke really does have a good heart, but he lets fear control him too much into thinking or acting for himself. Name/Aliases: ??? Species: Cinccino ♀ Relation: The mother of Prince, King and Duke. Bio: Not much is known about the mother of the three brothers. Other members in the tribe tend to dislike talking about her, as they find her to be an embarrassing disgrace to their tribe. What is known about her is that she called herself a “fortune teller” and had a profound belief in magic, horoscopes and the like. Rumour has it that she ended up falling in love with an outsider of the tribe, and left her three offspring (still in eggs) alone in the burrow to join a travelling circus with him. Of course, being rumour, it’s unknown whether that is actually true or not. The young Prince actually had a fondness for the mother he never knew, believing someday that she would return to prove that all the terrible rumours about her weren’t true. As he grew older, he seemed to lose faith in her, and now has reached the point where he thinks of her as nothing more than a nutcase. Name/Aliases: ??? Species: Venusaur ♀ Relation: Mother of Len, who resides in Tao Woods. Bio: Len has never really talked all too much about his mother, but he’s never had a bad thing to say about her. He was apparently his mother’s only child, and spent much of his life with her – it was from his mother where he learned to hold a good, optimistic view on the world. He respected many of her values, and has described her as being one of the kindest pokemon in the forest, always helping pokemon out in little ways. He wishes to one day be just as like her, and in many ways, he is very much like his mother in both personality and appearance. (His mother also shares a mark over her right eye, though it takes more of a heart shape as compared to Len’s). Name/Aliases: ??? Species: ??? ♂ Relation: Len’s childhood friend. Bio: Very little is known about Len’s childhood friend at the moment. All that’s currently known is that he was a very close friend of Len’s – almost like the brother he never had. The red bandanna Len wears could have possibly been a possession of this friend in the past. Name/Aliases: Loki Species: Manectric ♂ Relation: A common enemy of Prince and Len. Bio: Prince and Len first encountered Loki when the manectric was threatening to eat a pikachu who had wandered into the forest and stolen an apple from “his” apple tree. Len quickly jumped into the scene, demanding him to leave the pikachu alone. Len and Prince found themselves in their first battle with the manectric to save the pikachu, and somehow managed to pull it off even though they were rusty (particularly Prince, who’d never battled much in his life). Prince and Len managed to encounter Loki again much later, on their way to King’s Rock Casino (Mission 6) and managed to run into similar problems with this common enemy. According to Len, he likely lives in Tao Woods… and apparently, he seems to recognise him from his childhood as well… Name/Aliases: Don, Donny Species: Pikachu ♂ Relation: The first pokemon Prince and Len rescued; now the leader of Team Heroic Rescuers. Bio: Don the pikachu was the first pokemon Prince and Len rescued from Loki back in Tao Woods. He appears to be a bit of a coward by nature, always fleeing from trouble – which almost always seems to find him. Despite his timid nature, Don was inspired by Prince and Len’s rescue and, later on, joined the Rescuer’s Guild in Tao with his girlfriend, a cleffa named Pricilla. Name/Aliases: Pricilla, Prissy Species: Cleffa ♀ Relation: The partner and girlfriend of Don the pikachu in Team Heroic Rescuers. Bio: Prissy is that sort of girlfriend who loves to cling to Donny, and since registering their team, is almost always seen following him closely. She apparently has had many boyfriends before, but all them them had ended up leaving her; she feels, however, that her relationship with Donny is destined to last forever. She is almost as much of a coward as Donny is, and is always begging for him to protect her whenever there’s danger. She’s actually a lot older than she looks… she’s probably never evolved due to the fact that she’s yet to find true happiness. ....................

Haha yeah - you're most likely right about that, since the the tabs only go up to Mission 10 on this app. Still, will probably be a little while yet, since two missions before the present M8 was last summer. Should be enough time for this app to serve its use, anyway (hopefully xD).

Yeah, it was always hard for me to stick with a style with Len, since nearly every time I drew him, he came out looking different. He's actually looking more like I used to imagine him in my head, which is a good thing.

Looks pretty good to me! If anything, Prince's eyebrows might be a bit thicker, but for the most part, that looks pretty accurate!

Ha! I love this team! Social awkwardness? Germaphobia? Excellent and ideas! I love 'em! Nice work on the background story for Prince as well. Hmm...i'm not good at giving much feedback on art, but i defiantly think you've improved allot. I think your a fair artist, but if it takes so long to produce works of this quality, you may want to stick to writing. But please, by all means, take whatever option you find more enjoyable and feel comfortable with.
I'm looking very forward to see what these guys get up to in Mission 6. Lets just hope for Prince's sake its something clean. XD

To be honest, I probably will be sticking to writing for most of the future missions. It's just more familar territory for me, I enjoy it more and... well, it just takes much more time for me to produce quality art than it does for quality writing. Still, I'm glad to have a nice visual reference of them to accompany the writing app.
I have to agree, I've been working a lot on improving my digital art. It seems like every new picture I finish makes the last recent picture look terrible in comparison. X3 It's fun to do every once in a while, but it just takes up so much time. o_o'

Yea, I think its excellent to have a visual representation of a team. Unfortunately I'm rubbish at drawing so I kinda have to rely on art trades or free commissions to get them. Usually they tend not to work out. If you want to stick to writing, that's great.

Yeah, guess that's easy to understand... D: I have to say though, you do a good job of really personifying your characters in writing, so I do have a bit of a visual picture of them in my head nonetheless.
As on art trades, I'm always terrified to do them because I'm afraid I won't get my half done. x'D I think it's great when people accept writing for a trade, though, because there are a lot of great writers who work just as hard as the artists. I have to say I look forward to seeing what you get out of your last AT. :]
