Description I've been working on some subtle changes with my main character Maddy's design, mainly to do with her face, ears and legs here.  I've made her a little taller, muscular, and made her ears less elf like and more like a horse or goat's ears.  The nose has been tweaked a little too so it's more cat like, almost like a Gelfling. The idea is that I can use the ears to add to her expressions and emotions.  I'll do more examples in the next page.  This may result in having to make a whole new set of PNGs to replace the current ones in the youtube videos.  We shall see where she takes me.

I like that you made the design of the ears went low in sad expression(i can imagine those also goes down in situations of fear) It's a nice touch.

It's been really cool seeing you go through the basics of the behind-the-scenes on your work

Hm, I am curious... Are Maddie's legs more based off of a goat/deer hooves? I've noticed that they're cloven, though from my understanding a lot of cloven-hooved animals will have little "sub hooves" on the back of their limbs (of course this is a character and realism can go out the door, it's mostly just a matter of curiosity XP)

To be honest I am still figuring that out.

Hm, well it kind of depends on how "bulky" you want her legs to be. if you want them to be a bit on the stockier side, then I would maybe stick to cattle. If you're thinking of something a little more delicate and nimble, then I'd go with some form of deer.

The legs are basically horse legs but I keep adding those lines to imply the hooves are cloven.  Bad habit, or my brain's way of telling me to change it.  Not sure.  I don't think Maddy would suit the fragility and delicateness of deer legs.

Perhaps something more like a mountain goat?

That might work well, since she's bipedal having cloven hooves will help with balance, though if you're going with a mountain goat, you might have to proportion the legs a little differently so the lower-most section is a little shorter compared to the two upper parts.

The way you have it now is proportioned more akin to a deer, if you're going to go with a goat then the three segments should be relatively the same in length, otherwise it might be a bit confusing (I wish I had a picture to show what I mean but hopefully that makes sense )
