this is rather beautiful. the attention to the shapes of the color of the flesh, creates a very living anatomy study. nice work.

ah, ok... i thought it was... the body structure looked like it... but without a face, you can never be completely sure. anyway, nice job... i didn't even know you did vector work... i got no patience for it!
lol... anyway, i saw your journal... hope you feel better.

I thought you actually generated a vector drawing from a photograph

one critique, im not convinced by the boots.,..ima thinking maybe they draw the eyes out of the image a bit...maybe just keep it a complete nude?
anyways,

Simple curves, well defined and deliberate lines. Not the most detailed of your work, but certainly one of the more successful. It just goes to show that a creative piece doesn't need to be hyper-realistic and can be just as nice in a more surreal and subtle package. Bravo Madeline!

Dang! Even when you're being lazy, your vectors keep gettin better and better!
In all honesty, the amount of time spent on a project doesn't always matter. It's the end result that matters!
Granted, usually the amount of time spent on a project = better quality (as in your 8 hour+ vectors), but not always. This one is a great example of that. So don't just lightly dismiss it because it only took 1.5 hours.

Simple. Definitely a good use of curves to give the subject detail. Lots of simple things combine wonderfully to make this piece, which is sort of a nice change from the usual heavier vectors.
