I like the dreds and the and the shine of her clothes. But, the shine on her mike is a little much, as with her cuff. Her shoes are cute, though, they look like they could really hurt her, so it's just one of those clothes design things... If you ever got cosplayers they'd hate you.
Also, just on a funny little note, her hair in the front is either really hair sprayed or, really too high up.

Again, I would say be careful that your backgrounds don't drain the life from the character. The yellow works really well on her, because it is the opposite of the purple, but it's entirely muted with the background. I'd go with a much more pale background. White in the centre, and yellow at the edges perhaps. FYI, her steampunk look is quite similar to the Project Gunn winner!
