Description
A Flash Animation Tutorial for people who have never used Macromedia Flash before and totally drown in the technicalitiesof all those tutorials online.
I hope it will be useful... I'm often a bit chaotic when it comes to explaining things ^_^;

Well... One of the tips is totally wrong.
People that are pretty much noobs can and probably should use stick figures, it depends on what style are they planning on using.

uh... I'm making a preloader and when I have to go to the "actions" menu, it always says actions-frame and I can't change it.

hmmm...when i put the body layer below the head layer the body disappears. It has to be above the head layer to be seen, why is this? Also, the layer has a pencil symbol next to it for some unknown reason...can you place help me?
By the way this tutorail is amazing, it makes flash so accessaible to the everyday noob.

This utorial is really awesome and it helped me a lot but I've still a few problems doing flash. I saved it in .swf but what do I have to do if I want to repeat this frames endless(the whole animation)? Also I drew not only in the white space of the flash...do I have to erase each stuff I don't want?

If you want your flash to loop, go to the last frame and go to the actionscript tab, and type "GotoAndPlay(1)"
This means it'll play frame 1 again and thus it'll loop.
I think there's another way too...but I can't find one that quickly

with erasing stuff I mean that if someone click the 'download' button of the deviation you can see the original file(I'm bad in explaning stuff) like in the animation I made [link]

Argh, I want flash so bad! I have anime studio, but...well, to be honest, it sort of sucks. I followed the tutorials step by step several times and the animation still didn't work right. It's over simplified, but laid out to make it harder. GRAH!

Yah it's hard to get the program... it helps to ask around and ask at schools for student licences though....

cool tutorial. I tried out symbols, but then I screwed it up... so I gotta ask. How do I get rid of the symbol without erasing the drawing/animation?

What I do is copy the frames and paste them in the main timeline... that usually works...
