Description
A formal character sheet for my foxgirl character Vite. She's a vagabond and scam artist that uses her looks and cute clothes to con people out of their money. When she finds a mark, she figures out what they like and tailors her outfit and personality to their tastes, in order to charm them into buying her things. Though she's capable of acting like a cutie pie, her actual personality is crass and abrasive. Much of her life is based around lies, to the point that Vite isn't even her real name. It's the name she gave herself after she was abandoned by her family, as part of an attempt to recreate herself. She also dyed the tips of her hair and tail purple, not dying all of it as a reminder that her true self is still there. She's also developed a skill for pickpocketing. In her plain clothes, she hides the items she steals inside her oversized hoodie sleevesDue to her fear of large crowds, Vite prefers one-on-one conversations with others and tends to prey on wealthy-looking solo travelers. Her highly uncommon pink eyes allow her to pass as a person of high nobility, especially in combination with the few nice outfits she's managed to obtain from her scams. Though she uses her eyes to her advantage, she doesn't like people to compliment them, as they remind her of her mother, who disowned her at a young age. Her unnatural hair color also serves as a sign of status, as only wealthy individuals would normally spend money on such a frivolous luxury item.
Vite struggles daily with the guilt of building a life for herself based on lies and theft, and a part of her wishes to be punished for her crimes. She wants to make enough money to live comfortably so that she can put an end to her scams, as she has no desire to return to her either her family or the foster care system. She attempts to rationalize her actions by convincing herself that everyone else is secretly just as bad as she is, causing her to look at people who appear to be honest and good with suspicion.
