I would imagine that once they fund out the ghosts haunting the animatronics were children they'd try to help them find peace. I could actually see The Puppet calling them for that reason, to try too help them find peace and let the world know what Purple Guy/William Afton has done not just to them but to others trying to unravel the secret of giving life to the dead.
