Looks like trouble ahead, but I think Lara's got it covered with this sneaky water approach. Shhh! Keep it quiet now Lara - better not make an accidental splash! Also, watch out for giant pythons.This shot of Sari was taken by her sister in July 2012. Sari tells me she loved the place and it put her in the TR mood instantly. In my edit I've cropped things down a bit, removed some undesirable flash effects (shadowing, red-eye, localized brightness), and done a bunch of other things to try and get the best result. The flash effects were the main reason Sari never used the photo, so I'm glad to've been able to fix that and get this excellent watery action shown at last. You can see another water shot in her gallery, taken the same day.

Yes, one of the things I loved about Sari's Croft cosplays is that she is one of the few LC cosplayers brave enough to get into the water in her outfits...especially the sexier LC outfits likeΒ one in this pic.Β (to me, the wetsuit from Underworld does not count...and the "reborn" outfit is not even a consideration for me) I also love that she stays largely to the true image of Lara Croft, and not that "reborn" crap.Β
This looks like a nice, clean edit.Β Well done.

Thanks on the editing. Yeah, Sari's got wet quite a few times for the sake of a good shot, including my favourite one . Found your 'reborn' comment amusing too. Most Lara cosplayers seem to embrace that version so I try not to be too disparaging about it, but basically I'm with you and don't consider it to be the real Lara Croft. Really they could've just made it a new character I think, but I guess they wanted to try and cash in on the name. Would've been nice if they'd just stuck with the previous version and done some work on improving the gameplay though. Underworld had a lot of issues and huge room for improvement, which I wrote about on my website. But I guess we'll be stuck with this new franchise for a while. Maybe when they make her grow up a bit though, she might become a bit more like the traditional Lara; so perhaps there's still some hope for a gaming experience I'm interested in.

You're quite welcome.Β Β And yes, that shot of her in the water that you linked is one of my absolute faves as well.
It's my hope also that a future game will see Lara grow into the character as we've known and loved over the years.Β Until that happens, I guess I still have my older games, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and the upcoming Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.Β (Only problem with those Lara Croft games is that Lara is too small on the screen.

Unfortunately those top-down games aren't my cup of tea, and I gather that the latest is oriented around 4-player co-op anyway, whereas I'd want something tailored to single-player. And like you say, Lara is too small on the screen. As you may've noticed in my article (thanks by the way), I even thought she was too small in Underworld, and wanted the choice to have the camera closer. So that would be a further reason why I'm not interested in those. However, I'm going to have another go at Legend at least.

I think my favorite outfit of hers in Legend is the sporty short shorts outfit, blue with the white stripes running down the sides.
But I also love her default outfit in Legend.
I still haven't gotten Temple of Osiris yet....jury's still out.
I should just go back and revisit TR Trilogy....Anniversary, Legend, and Underworld on PS3.

I'm not sure I fancy that blue one all that much. I've seen a picture of it (fourth in the top row ) and to me it kind of looks like she's turned up at the gym for a workout - with guns. A bit too sporty, in other words.
