Here's the lovely tomb-raiding Sari Croft looking marvellously athletic and ready for anything on her latest quest. Tigers, sharks, bats, giant spiders, lethal traps - you name it, she can deal with it. And still be back in time for tea!
This is essentially a cropped version of Sari's Revisited shot, giving a more closely focused portrait - something I've wanted to make for a long while as I thought it would be effective. It derives from the same Photoshop file I used for producing that image, but I've slightly extended the rocky area at the bottom so her left boot has more separation from the edge (it was a bit close before). The shot was taken in Halistenkoski by Sari's sister, in June 2012.

Well, IMO the original is a better cosplay because of having more environment in it, but your edit is better as a portrait because it's more tightly focussed on the figure.

Yeah, the scenery in the wider version is certainly worthwhile; Sari had a great location there. It was a good photo for making both a scenic image and a closer portrait image. Double value!
