A beautiful image;
kind of a "French Impressionist" fractal.
Monet would like it : )

thank you! I find the title to be so fitting. Namely because I made it around the "time of" Rapture

Thank you! Dont worry, not taken the wrong way at all! I actually do want to get one of my fractals tattooed on myself, and it has been between this and my other recent one [link]

You certainly earned the DD with this. A little dark-hued for my tastes, but execution is superb, and the overall work is nothing short of stunning.
Great job!
... Freakin' big space-sunflower was my first thought, btw. X3

So how long did this take you to make?
*Stares at it critically*
Flippin' HOW did you make this, program aside?
Seriously, I'm seein' wisps left and right, those "petals" look suspiciously liked manipulated images of flowers or stained glass windows... oh, and so does the outer edge, look at that.
...Trippy.

Haha thank you! It really means a lot to me that everyone can see so many different things and acknowledge all the details I put into this. Honestly, I just got lucky, and got a general glimpse of what something can be, and I run with it as best as I can. All in all, I believe it was about 2 days of trying to get a rough design down, then a few hours of tweaking here and there to get the final result. Photoshop was only used to put in the blackened boarder as well as to dodge in the left a tad bit, but that is it.
I am really glad you like it so much, I just hope I can keep this pace up!

TWO days... Dang, mess like this would take me weeks.
You a speed-painter! Keeping the pace up shouldn't be too hard for you in comparison to my slowness. X3

Ah, well, if you are not too familiar with the world of fractals, some things can flow together relatively quickly, while others do not. It was about 5 or 6 hours of messing around, and another 2 or 3 tweaking, and i spent no more than an hour choosing and generating a color scheme for it all, and finally about 8 hours of rendering.
every has a pace at which they work, and there is nothing wrong with whatever it is

My pace is molasses-going-uphill-in-the-winter slow most days. the worst is unfinished projects, but... Eh, eventually I get back to them.
As for you, seems like your projects are more than worth it when finished. ^w^

I found myself staring into the black hole, and I suppose it is some optical illusion that the hole appears to grow? haha I cannot stop staring at that. Thank you!

Yea, I have mentioned to a few others, if you stare at the black hole, it sort of grows? Maybe it is just me, but either way, thank you!
