It was insane.
Me and my girlfriend had got there around 12 and by then the police were already in super fascist "lets beat on hippies" mode.
The newspapers are focusing on what happened to Ian Tomlinson as if it were an isolated inncident, but I saw people being hit for no reason everywhere.
