Going to people's artwork and pasting the same exact generic compliment and sales pitch is really, really tacky, and also, for users who have been on DA for a while such as myself and view it as an ART SITE and not a sales pitch site, it's annoying, inconsiderate, and inappropriate. And, it's also technically spamming, at least as far as I'm concerned. And it's not going to make people interested in supporting your work if all you could do in response to THEIR work was to paste your sales pitch.
