Description
After running around in the field, little jaguar cub sat down to relax for a bit. Pleasant sunlight, warm wind, hypnotizing scent of blooming flowers... What can be better than a little nap!Here is a sequal to this picture:
I had an insane craving for water colour. Did a quick sketch and simply layer the paint around. Flowers were improvised and were SO much fun to paint omg! For the cub shading I used coloured pencils, was curious to test it.
This was one evening work. Really pleased x)

This is gorgeous! I love the softly rendered edges using the colors rather lineart to pull everything together. Those flowers and the character's markings/colors are so amazingly done. Everything fits just right.

Greetings! I am from 's comment tag game and my tag word was "sweet". This is why I went back a bit in your gallery, because I found the sleeping cub very cute and therefore a good candidate for the word although it is an older piece from you. But then again sometimes the older ones don't receive the love they deserve, so here I am.
I am not very good with animal anatomy, but I try my best.
Composition: This is one of the pieces that really tried at composition (as opposed to a lot of artworks I comment on that simply feature a character without background or anything). I like the composition: the protagonist is featured in the middle and is not diminished by the elegant and unobtrusive background. To choose some flowers is a nice idea, because they make for a good ornamental decoration, but don't distract. It just looks to me as if the perspective is a bit off in this one, because the background treats this picture a bit as an bird's-eye-view whereas the animal is in profile.
Colors: You have a nice and colorful picture here with those many detailed and cool flowers and by doing it traditionally it adds to the effect. You coloring and outlining is very neat, just two things. One concerns your lighting/shadows: you could use some more highlights and contrasts to make the image more plactic and the small flowers that are spread throughout the image look a bit sloppy. Better leave them out completely.
Anatomy: As I said, I am not good with animals, so everything I say is to be taken with a grain of salt - but for some reason I think his neck connects a bit to highly with the head. Apart from that it looks very well done. And the different kinds of flowers are also very well done.
Overall it is a cute, colorful feel-good picture done with visible effort. Great job!

Composition - haha I agree. Background was literally smeared around so indeed might look a bit, off xD
Colors - aw thanks! With the highlights I was testing something and, it failed xD Like to do a watercolor base and then add highlight with pencils... Not the brightest idea. And HAHA the little flowers ARE sloppy as hell 
Anatomy - this possibly defies anatomy rules pretty hard, and sleeping like this looks really unnatural. I was just too greedy to throw off a sketch

You have a lot of lovely artwork in your gallery, but this one in particular caught my eye for the alluring colors and cuteness. Gotta love those flowers! Great job improvising them as you were painting. Plus, the colored pencil shading on the cub adds some nice depth to pop the subject forward amid all the lovely details.

I must say I incredibly enjoyed myself seeing those flowers happen, my favourites are where watercolour... "did it's thing" the most xD Making interesting patterns as it dried with water.
