Thanks you so much! The arbiter is quite deadly. I play alot of games. Everyone usually gets killed a lot when they're new to video games. That was defenately the case for me when I started.In the halo story line the arbiter was a very powerful commander the covenant fleet. He was charged with the protection and defense of the halo ring. But he failed his duty and the council sent him to become an arbiter which is an elite soldier sent on suicidal missions for the council most arbiters die in combat. But anyway the halo story is very interesting.of course I know who he is his work is very cool! Does this drawing really remind you of mc Escher? But now that you point it out i can kind of see a flounder. And thank you again I'm glad you liked it despite the fact you didn't know who this was!

It's not so much it reminded me of Escher, it had an optical illusion for me. See, I didn't know the character or what he looked like so I had nothing to go on. It looked like he was turning his head inside the helmet to look at me. The one side ornament at first looked like it was part of his jaw and the piece coming down over his eyes looked like it was attached to the ornament on the other side, so he looked like he had been flattened or punched. But that's because I didn't know what he or his helmet looked like, unlike Bobba Fet. Everyone knows what he looks like. It wasn't until I went on line to see what the arbiter was that I saw a picture/video and I realzied his helmet is pointed like a bird's beak and those ornaments are actually his mouth!!!!!!!!! [link] Unless you know that you're not going to get it at first. When I came back, I had an a-ha moment, like yes, of course, his helmet is like a beak and those aren't ornaments on the sides of his helmet. It was perfectly drawn but if I kept staring at it, the optical illusion kept coming back. Which I thought was cool like he had taken a major blow to the face!! That's what happens when you don't play video games and know your characters. All your buds here knew off the bat what you had drawn. A girl form Ireland who never played a video game in her life before coming here, not so much. It's a great drawing with great attention to detail especially in the underparts. See, not knowing what his helmet looked like, I thought those teeth parts were ornamental parts of his helmet. So...the video link - is that a movie or the actual game play. That is awesome graphics and does the sargeant die? It seemed like he was going to sacrifice himself so the other guys wouldn't have to. Sad...

That is a very cool peroective of my work! But since I clearly know what he looks like it's very hard to see the optical illusion. But I find that your view very interesting! I found it very cool how you thought his teeth and mouth were ornaments! But anyone I found your view of it very interesting and cool! And thank you very much! I always pay close attention to detail, I spend hours on these drawings trying to make them as perfect as possible, I'm happy you enjoy them! And that was a cgi cutscene, I wish the actaul graphics were that good but still halo graphics are pretty impressive. And yes the sargent sacrifices himself and dies to save those spartans. He does this because those kind of soldiers are very valuble to the war effort and there's very few of them so he sacrifes himself to let them fight another day

So it is sad. I liked him. I watched the rest of the video and it showed his empty cryo chamber so you know he died. Halo seems pretty intense emotionally. I just watched a "cutscenes" video of the death of Nobel Team from Halo Reach. I guess if you played that game, you died, because it ends with the professor telling you that you fought well and will be remembered bdecause you're all dead. That's sad...and surreal. After getting an even closer look at the Arbiter I realize, like his helmet, he has armour fused onto his mouth parts too, and he has FOUR! mouth parts that open and close. No wonder my eyes were trying to make sense of all the moving parts, even in the video. I thought he had two pincers, he has four!!! See, don't feel bad, I didn't even get a CGI video, in high definition no less!! I was so confused. It was like what is going on around his mouth! :lauging: I had no idea what I was looking at, I only knew it was totally cool and fierce looking. Definitely not someone I would want to meet in a dark place.

I have secondary friends that play Halo, but none of my immediate friends play it, at least in the present. Levi plays Zelda and a few other antiseptic shooters, he's only just thirteen so his mam won't let him play the harder games yet. His older brother who's going off to college has already played it. He mostly plays Call of Duty and other war games, but he's older so he can play the bloody games. Me, I play Tetris. It's funny though, my hard gamer friends get stressed playing because when it starts moving fastsr and faster, they hate it. Me, I'm totally calm. Even though I'm not really good at tetris either, I find it very soothing because it's so simple and meditative...and probably because no one is trying to hurt me.

Halo can be pretty sad. In the ending of halo reach your character dies defending the planet reach. It's pretty sad. Lol it's alright. There's a whole species just like the arbiter. They are called the elites they are very deadly and skilled warriors. But anyway I play a lot of Zelda it's my favorite game series. I do play a few shooters halo being my favorite. Im not really into call of duty but I do play battlefield occasionally which is pretty much hyper realistic call of duty. And I love tetris its a fun simple and addictive game.I'm not great at it either but it's a very relaxing game,
