I don't know how you manage to do the faces so realistically with yarn. How do you know how much to crochet with one color before you need to switch to another so that it all matches up in the end? I am in awe at your skill.Β

Thank you so much!! In fact, it's not that hard, you just follow a graph, like pixels of a picture. each pixel is a stich in crochet. The really difficult thing to do is making that pattern and picking the right colours, so that it all mixes in the end ^-^

That makes sense, but still very difficult. I am still impressed that you have it figured out. I imagine color photos are Β harder than black and white? I want to try doing this now.Β

YesΒ the coloured ones are more difficult This one is my first and I spent three weeks trying to find the right tan colours Even though Black and white can be quite tricky too ! experimenting with different yarn colours will get you anywhere! Good luck!
